GT Softball – Back to Back Regional Champions!

 

Congratulations to our Lady Ram’s for winning Back-To-Back Regional Championships!! The Rams defeated Latin 15-5 to advance to Sectional play for the second consecutive year.  

 

The Rams were led by G.C.A.C. player of the year, Melanie Claudio, who pitched a brilliant game and helped her own cause by knocking in a couple RBI’s.  Great job ladies!

• Monday, May 6th—Cap, Gown & Ticket Distribution
• Tuesday & Wednesday May 14-15^th—Senior Exams
• Wednesday May 15^th—Senior Awards Dinner (7pm, location TBD)
• Thursday, May 16^th Baccalaureate Mass followed by Graduation Rehearsal
• Sunday, May 19^th—Graduation (1pm St. Vincent DePaul Parish)

Baccalaureate Mass & Honors Assembly

• Date: Thursday, May 16^th
• Time: 9am
• Location: GT gymnasium
• There will be a full mass honoring the graduating Seniors followed by the Honors Assembling, recognizing students from the entire school.
• Attire: Semi formal (modest slacks/ skirts, collared shirt, tie, dress lengths: no more than 2 inches above knee, no open back, black, nude or brown shoes, no higher heel than 2 inches. No sandals or boots.)
• All students are required to attend and we encourage parents to come as well to help celebrate the achievements of GT’s student body. Parents please RSVP to khaslwanter@gordontech.org

Senior Award Party

• Date: Wednesday, May 15^th
• Time: 7pm
• Location: Friendship Chinese Restaurant, 2830 N. Milwaukee Ave
• Attire: Semi-formal
• Tickets: $20 per person
• Includes: Dinner, awards, photo montage

Graduation Ceremony

• Date: Sunday, May 19^th
• Time: 1pm
• Location: St. Vincent DePaul Parish (1010 W. Webster)
• Attire: Semi formal (modest slacks/ skirts, collared shirt, tie, dress lengths: no more than 2 inches above knee, no open back, black, nude or brown shoes, no higher heel than 2 inches. No sandals or boots.)
• Tickets: 4 per Senior student, may request up to 4 more (form included)

Semester One Exam Schedule

The following is information concerning Semester Three Exams:

Semester One Exam Schedule

 

Thursday, March 14, 2013 (Tuesday/Thursday Schedule)

Block E Exam:  8:25a.m.-10:00a.m.                        Block F Exam:  10:10a.m. -11:45 a.m.

Friday, March 15, 2013 (Tuesday/Thursday Schedule)

Block G Exam:  8:25a.m. -10:00a.m.                       Block H Exam:  10:10a.m. -11:45a.m.

• Wednesday/Friday classes will have their exams on Wednesday, March 13.
• Wednesday, March 13 will be a regular scheduled day and NOT A RAM SUCCESS SCHEDULE.  
• The cafeteria will open at 7:00a.m. and breakfast will be served until 8:00a.m.  Lunch will NOT be served on exam days; the vending machines will be turned off during exams.

• All students are to follow the Gordon Tech dress code on exam days.  

• The library will be open from 7:00a.m. – 8:15a.m. for quiet study.  The library will remain open until 3:00p.m. on exam days.

 

• This is a required attendance day for all students. Students will remain in the classroom for the full 95 minute exam period.   Students completing the exam early must remain in the room until the end of the period.

• After school detention will be held on Thursday and Friday from 11:55a.m. -12:30p.m.
• Semeser 3 grades will be due by 12:00pm on Monday, March 18.
• Verification forms will be due at 7:45am on Wednesday, March 20.
• Please be sure to communicate to all families of students who have failed.
