Ron Delisi, a 1986 Gordon Tech graduate, has recently been inducted into the Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame.  Ron had a tremendous prep career while at GT, earning a number of different accolades, such as:

- 1985 Tony Lawless Award (MVP of the CCL)
- 1985 Lerner Newspaper Player of the Year (All of the North west side)
- 1985 Adidas All American honors
- 1985 New Gazette All-State honors
- 1985 Sun-Times All State honors
- 1985 Tribune All State honors

These accolades more than qualified him for potential selection into the Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame.  Ron is arguably one of the best linebackers who ever played at Gordon Tech, and that includes quite a few established young men.  He continued his football career at Northern Illinois University where he, once again, earned a number of accolades including:

- 1989 Associated Press All American
- 1989 Dick Butkus candidate
- 1989 Team Captain and MVP
- 1988 Sporting News All American
- All time school leader in assisted tackles
- 4th all time in total tackles
- Member of the all decade team

Ron has had a storied football career.  The Gordon Tech community is proud of his accomplishments.  Congratulations Ron – you deserve it!
